The Lookout is a wildfire education YouTube channel and website. During wildfire season we provide daily updates on the biggest fires in Northern and Central California. When fire season passes, we focus on understanding fire in the landscape. Because of the critical state of our forests, we believe every Californian needs to learn as much as they can about wildfire in order to make decisions about where to live, where to invest, who to vote for, how to maintain a property, and when to evacuate. By the way, we'll never recommend staying in a location near wildfire. Please respect your local authorities, evacuation orders, and common sense. Leave early and stay alive.
